Technological advancement continues to grow at a dynamic pace, giving rise to many new opportunities. One of such opportunities is the world of esports. The younger generation participating in the esports, through their passion and commitment, are the very seeds of becoming professional esports athletes themselves. Unfortunately, these young athletes do not have a guiding platform to accomodate their passion in this new and emerging form of sports.

By harnessing the same energetic spirit of the younger generation, Pengurus Besar Esports Indonesia (PBESI), was born to become a vessel to support these young athletes to be more adapt to tackle this new and emerging industry. Every step these athletes take, will be taken with a full realization that they are carrying likewise the chance to serve Indonesia by defending the national dignity at the global level.

The existence of this platform would not have been possible without the enthusiasm of the initial esports stakeholders here in Indonesia. I hope, guided by PBESI, the esports ecosystem in Indonesia will continue to grow, advance, and eventually bring Indonesia to be one of the strongest Esport countries in the world.
